About

Web Login Guide is an independent website with practical, step-by-step guides for using WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp on a computer safely. It is written for people who don’t consider themselves “tech people”: students, office workers, small business owners, parents and grandparents who want to get it right the first time.

Who writes these guides

The guides are written and maintained by Ankit Kumar, a technical writer and content researcher. His work focuses on researching technical topics, explaining complex information in plain language, and producing original, well-structured content based on reliable sources.

How every guide is researched and checked

  1. Official sources first. Steps, menu names, limits and feature details are checked against the WhatsApp Help Center (faq.whatsapp.com), the WhatsApp Blog and Meta’s Newsroom. If something can’t be confirmed there or in another reliable source, it is left out.
  2. Written from scratch. We read what’s already out there to understand what people are asking, then write our own explanation. We don’t copy, rewrite or translate other websites.
  3. Reviewed before publishing. Each guide is checked for accuracy, clarity and whether it actually answers the question someone searched for.
  4. Kept up to date. WhatsApp changes often. Every guide shows a “Last updated” date, and we revise guides when WhatsApp changes a feature or a menu.

We are not WhatsApp

This is an independent guide. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp is a trademark of its owner, used here only to describe the service our guides are about.

That also means we will never ask you to log in to WhatsApp on this website, scan a QR code here, or share a verification code with us. The only official address for WhatsApp Web is https://web.whatsapp.com. Our guides link there and show you how to check the address yourself.
